Every August the Pierzchalski clan celebrates their summer birthdays with Ribfest/Birthdayfest. With all three of their children (Jen, Laurie and Jim) living in different cities, they decided the best way to celebrate all the different birthdays was to get everyone together for one weekend each summer. They call this Ribfest/Birthdayfest.
The 2008 addition was held on Saturday, August 9.
This year us southern Illinoisan's (Keith, Barb and Erin Sutorius) were invited to join the fun in Milwaukee. Even Jim's girlfriend Emily's dog Tess joined us.
Uncle Larry bbq's the ribs, and everyone else eats until they can't move.
We had a great time. We had grilled corn and buttered them using the "Buttermatic 2000".
After the meal all the summer birthdays opened up their presents.
Uncle Larry had to inform me that my June 19th birthday didn't qualify as a summer birthday. That's an accountant for you.
